Parsa, March 24 (RSS): Nineteen offenders including 16 inmates from Biragunj prison have attended the Secondary Education Exam (SEE) here today. Three others are from child rehabilitation centre. They took the exam under tight security. Today is the first day of the nationwide exam for the students to complete Grade 10. Officiating chief at the prison, Ganesh Bhandari, informed that youths facing imprisonment on various offenses including drug trafficking were allowed to sit in exam in the prison premises. The inmates were instructed about the exam rules by the teachers earlier, Bhandari added. A total of 7,857 students are appearing the exam as regular students while 35o are attending for second or further attempt from Parsa district. Similarly, 182 have filled SEE forms for the technical subjects. There are 24 exam centres in the district.
