Mother and her son go missing

Myagdi, Aug 3 (RSS): Two people have gone missing after a taxi with a ‘learner’ sign plunged into the local Mygdi River on Friday.
The taxi bearing the number plate Dha 1 Ja 251 fell into the river from a playground behind the District Police Office at Beni.
According to the police those missing in the incident are 30-year-old Shova Adhikari Khati and her eight-year-old son Sagar of Bagarphant, Jaljala rural municipality.
It is learnt that Adhikari was with her son learning driving when the car fell into the river from the edge of the playground. The two occupants and the vehicle are missing.
Police and locals are searching for the missing vehicle and persons but have not tracked them yet. The taxi belongs to the Beni Driving Institute. Institute manager has been arrested and an investigation initiated into the incident, police said.
