Madan Bhandari Museum to be made public from Sunday

Urlabari (Morang), March 31 (RSS): ‘Madan Bhandari Museum’ has been established at Urlabari by incorporating his political, social and family activities.
Madan Bhandari Memorial Foundation, Nepal, Urlabari established the museum in the name of the then general-secretary of CPN-UML Bhandari with the financial assistance of the Department of Archaeology.
The museum inaugurated by President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday will remain open for general public from Sunday. The earthquake resistant museum building has 16 rooms in its three storeys.
The museum has the images of leader Bhandari’s birthplace, Dhungesanghu of Taplejung to Dasdhunga of Chitwan where he lost his life in a jeep accident. It ahs also showcased several important political movements of Nepal including his party building process.
An arrangement has been made to screen a 10-minute video documentary reflecting Bhandari’s personality in the museum.
The museum was set up so as to ease people to understand about the life of late leader Bhandari, shared Foundation Chairperson guru Prasad Baral. –
