Uttarakhanda, India, April 8 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli who is presently on the three-day State visit to India, was conferred on the honorary PhD degree by the GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Uttarakhand State, India. Receiving the degree, the Prime Minister said he was thankful to the University, the first agriculture university in India, for conferring such honorary doctorate on him and accepted it with profound gratitude. He said he expressed his sincere thanks to Professor AK Mishra for extending the generous invitation to him to be at the University for the honour. According to him, the University which heralded a revolution in agricultural education, research and innovation, a center of excellence that has led renaissance in India’s agriculture education.
