Kathmandu, March 11 (RSS): The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is to give its vote of confidence to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Party Spokesperson Bhuwan Pathak said this in a press statement Saturday. The party is standing in favour of the incumbent prime minister in the voting Sunday as he is seeking a vote of confidence in the parliament same day.
“The RPP’s support for the PM is to promote nationality, democracy and political stability in the country,” said the party which was a member in the Nepali Congress-led democratic election alliance during the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies in November and December last year.
The party has a single member in the House of Representatives.
Meanwhile, the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal has said that the party’s parliamentary meeting scheduled for 12:00 noon tomorrow would decide whether to support the incumbent government. The Rastriya Janata Party has already announced its support to the Oli-led government.
